Amy Smart was an American model and actress. She was born and raised in California in the USA. Her modeling career began in Italy. Her acting debut was in the year 1996 when she was a part of 'Her Costly Affair,' the first TV film. The actress struggled to secure the role of a main character in Starship Troopers, despite having been in a variety of films. The transition between modelling and acting because model actors aren't always considered good actors, and they're usually given insignificant and small part. Amy never gave up. She surpassed her previous roles in the series '70s' and the feature film Varsity Blues. The 2005 romantic comedy film "Just Friends" starring Ryan Reynolds gave her her first leading role. Amy received recognition by the industry for her performance in the last 10 years. Amy then went on to work in several big movies, including the "Crank" series, which starred Jason Statham, and the series 'Shameless', in which she was a popular as a recurring role.
