Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor and a singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American actor and singer. She is from Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were recognized at an early age. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was thirteen, and she got her first role in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. In the same year, she also began training in private acting. Bell played a brief, uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music as well as drama. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell was a student at The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. Bell quit her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her debut on the credit screen playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However the scene she played was removed out of the movie and her appearance was only in the credits. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
