Catherine Ford is a British actress born in Bloomsbury. When her father's departure from the household, the actress was grew to maturity by her mother, godparents, and grandmother. While she was a small girl, Catherine Ford struggled with an obsessional disorder, and also suffered from anxiety because of the word"association. Ford became interested in the acting profession during her teen years, and was a part of the National Youth Theatre. Ford was accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. But after just one month, she decided that it wasn't the right fit for her. Ford instead applied to the Central School of Speech and Drama and was able to secure the position on her 4th application. Shaun Dingwall played Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford was able to graduate in 1993. However, she already had her TV debut in a 1992 episode of Surgical Spirit. She adopted the name Catherine Tate. Tate began her TV debut in the year 1991, appearing in shows such as The Bill. Men Behaving Badly. and London's Burning. Tate was also a regular performer in theatre and eventually joined The Royal Shakespeare Company during its season of 2000-2001. However, Tate was soon gaining attention for her stand-up comic that she incorporated into her resume in the year 1996.
