Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California, on the 9th July 1983. Her first job out of school was in the industry of real estate. Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband, met in this business. They were very successful up until 2008, when the stock market crashed and numerous house flippers and real estate investors were bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa nearly wiped out by the 2008 crash. They moved from a home that cost $6,000 per month to an apartment that cost $700 per month. Their businesses and the economy gradually rebounded. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to help him create an HGTV tape which showed Christina and her flipping through the house from start to the end. The tape landed in the management of an executive at a production company called Pie Town Productions. They fell in love Tarek as well as Christina. The couple signed an agreement with HGTV. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" began its debut. The series aired 92 episodes between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. The show starred Christina and Tarek buying properties located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes to be able to sell their properties at a profits. Tarek focuses more on renovation and demolition while Christina is responsible for design. The couple also ensure that everything happens to schedule.
