Robyn Rihanna, better popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian performer and musician who has released hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna has emerged as one of music's most popular artist. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing as a child. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and the constant arguments between her parents she immersed herself in music, and before long realized that she wanted to be a professional singer. When she was a teenager she joined a rock group. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was awestruck. The producer requested that the teenager relocate to New York and pursue a performing career that was full-time. Rihanna happily accepted. Her debut album was soon released and Rihanna was a cult artist within a short time. Her uplifting songs became top of the charts among teenagers and enticed her to make films. A talented young woman, Rihanna has been hailed as a teenage idol. Rihanna also puts her fame to good use and is active in a variety of charities.
